Mr. David L. Snell
President and CEO

David L. Snell is a professional engineer with a B.Sc. and M.Sc in Electrical Engineering.  Prior to its amalgamation with Ivrnet Inc, Mr. Snell was the President and CEO of HMC Internet Solutions, a role he held on an interim basis from April 2002 to August 2003.  He is a founder and former Vice Chairman and CEO of Electronics Manufacturing Group (EMG), now known as Adeptron Inc, a TSX listed electronics manufacturing company, from 1996 to 2001.  Through his first 39 months at EMG, Mr. Snell led the company through 8 financings, a public offering, three corporate acquisitions, and expansion from Lethbridge Alberta to Calgary Alberta and Markham Ontario.  During this time staff increased from 6 to 350 and revenues increased from $450,000 in the company’s first year of operations to over $35,000,000 in its fourth year of operations.  Prior to forming EMG, he was Vice President of Production and a director at Wi-LAN Inc, a TSX listed research and design firm in the wireless data communications industry, and was Vice President at Cell-Loc Inc, a TSX listed wireless location company.  In addition to these roles Mr. Snell has acted as a director and advisor to several public and private technology companies.  During his career Mr. Snell has been recognized by “Profit” Magazine for creating one of Canada’s fastest growing start-ups, Alberta Venture Magazine for creating one of Alberta’s fastest growing companies, and has been a finalist for Entrepreneur Of The Year.  In 2001 Mr. Snell was elected to the Top 40 under 40 list of greatest contributors to the City of Calgary. Mr. Snell has appeared nationally on CBC news, live on ROBtv, and has been in numerous print articles, radio interviews and local television interviews to talk about technology.

Wayne D. Webb, Director

Wayne Webb has been involved in Senior Administration and Marketing positions for approximately 30 years.  In the mid 70’s he was active in the marketing of construction chemicals for W.R Grace in the Calgary Office, later becoming Calgary sales Manager.  This position led him into the real estate development business, developing apartment buildings, office buildings and small residential development properties.  With the development slowdown of the early 80’s he joined a Trust Company to lead “work-outs” of problem loans and participated in new lending opportunities for residential builders.  The return of the real estate industry created new opportunities in commercial Real Estate, and in 1986 he joined the Trust Company’s commercial real estate division.  During the next four-year period, he was involved in the sale of approximately 25 properties with a value in excess of $80.0 Million.  In addition to real estate sales, he was involved in land assembly for a golf course development in Cochrane, AB.    During 1992, he participated in the assembly, design, development, financing and leasing of an 8.5 acre shopping center site with approx. 65,000 sq. ft. of retail space.  In 1993, he Project Managed and sold 90 condominium apartment units converted from rental to owner occupied.  During 1994, he became the successful bidder to operate eight campgrounds with over 600 sites as a private contractor to the Province of Alberta.  In 2005, he became actively involved in Resco Communication Services, promoting the golf products on behalf of Ivrnet.  He is also a member of the Ivrnet Board of Directors. 

Mr. Dave Bradley, Director

Dave Bradley is the founder, President, and Chief Executive of PBS Systems Inc., North America’s largest and most established supplier of Microsoft Windows based Dealer Management Software. PBS software manages all aspects of an auto dealership’s sales, service, parts, finance, and insurance operations. Mr. Bradley has 30 years of experience developing world leading business applications and pioneering the adoption of new technologies in established markets.  He assisted in founding of the STAR Alliance, a standard for information exchange adopted by most major automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

Marcel Jacques, Director

Marcel Jacques, currently a semi-retired business development consultant and former Chairman of Replicon Inc, joins the Ivrnet Board with over 35 years of information systems experience.  Mr. Jacques’ interest in technology has revolved around the introduction of leading edge technologies such as supercomputers (managed four installations in Calgary) and fiber optics (co-founder of OilNet later known as MetroNet Communications which was sold to AT&T).  His entrepreneurial career includes co-founding International Productivity Solutions Inc., known as PreferSoft Inc. that was sold to Pangaea Inc.  Mr. Jacques was Chairman for PreferSoft Inc. and has sat on a number of boards within Calgary.  Mr. Jacques continues to advise, direct and mentor numerous small private Alberta companies.  Formerly, Mr. Jacques has held various positions with ACTC Technologies Inc., Control Data Canada Ltd., and Fujitsu Canada.

Andrew Watts, Director

Andrew Watts joins the Board with a plethora of business acumen and experience as the current President and CEO of Hansar Energy Corp., a private junior oil company with assets in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.  Mr. Watts has previous oil & gas experience through Tier One Energy and Player Petroleum; both successful Junior Energy companies in Central & South Eastern Alberta. Mr. Watts' previous business ventures include his tenure as CEO of Watts Mechanical Services Ltd., which was included in Alberta Venture Magazine’s “Fast Growth 50”, ranked 1st in 2009 in the over $20 million category. As well, Mr. Watts is a graduate of MIT’s “Entrepreneurial Master’s Program”, 2012 and was notably included in Avenue Magazine’s 2009 “Top 40 Under 40” (at age 32) and is a member in good standing of the Young Presidents Organization.
